Best Comics of April

Normally I don't include 52 in my best of, but this month is gonna be different. The reason? 52#49 was so frickin awesome and had one of the best covers EVER - right up there with All-Star Superman #1. If I'm going to include one issue of 52, I thought I better put all of them in there. Good thing I did too because it was another crappy month of comics. Every last Marvel book I read sucked. Almost every DCU book I read sucked. Thank Marley for 52, Grant Morrison, and Pete Woods.

I think the biggest reason why this month sucked was things like no Paul Dini Detective this month or Astonishing X-Men or Ultimates... just kinda a down month... or is it? Maybe I've raised my standards since I've been reading so much Y: The Last Man, Fables, Ex Machina, and Sandman recently... something to ponder...

WORST BOOK OF THE MONTH: Every last one written by Brian Bendis. 'Nuff said!
